The search box, the Live, Channels, Videos and Recordings pages, filters, sorting and pages.
The search box
Every page has a search box in the top bar, and the home page has a large one. Start typing and suggestions appear under it: channels (with a red Live badge and the viewer count when they are streaming), videos and recordings, with the part that matched in bold. Live channels come first. Before you type, it lists the channels that are live now.
- Up and Down move through the list, Enter opens the highlighted row, Escape closes it.
- Enter with nothing highlighted, or the last row, opens the search page with every match, grouped by type, each group with a link to its full directory.
Search looks at channel names, handles, about texts and stream titles; video titles and descriptions; and recording names and channel names.
The directories
The top bar links to four directories:

| Recordings | Automatic recordings of past broadcasts |
Each has a text filter, a sort order and numbered pages (12 per page). Channels can also be filtered to live or offline, and videos and recordings to one channel. The filters and the page number are in the address, so you can bookmark or share any view. Clear filters resets them.
The home page shows the first eight of each kind with a View all link.
Private and suspended channels never appear in search or in any directory.
